EcoVadis – ESG rating
EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability assessment platform that evaluates a company’s sustainability management system. Companies can either voluntarily participate in the EcoVadis assessment or are invited by their business partners and clients to participate.
The assessment is based on four pillars that are further divided into relevant topics:
- Environment
- Labor & Human Rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable Procurement
The basis of the assessment is a questionnaire that is tailored to a company’s size, sector, and location. This ensures that the assessment is applicable to the company’s specific circumstances. Within the four pillars, the assessment focuses on topics that are material for the sector and the company.
