VSME reporting

A VSME report is a sustainability report prepared by small and medium-sized enterprises, following the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME), a simplified sustainability reporting framework. A VSME report makes your sustainability performance clear, showing clients, banks, suppliers and other stakeholders how you manage sustainability in your operations and the progress you have made toward your goals.

Publishing a VSME report sets your business apart as responsible, proactive, and forward-thinking in a market where many SMEs do not report at all.

Our approach

Together, we set ambitions for your report. We guide and advise you during the preparation of your report – from breaking down the reporting requirements into plain language, to organising your data in a way that makes sense for drafting the narratives. We work closely with your team and support you throughout the whole report creation process. We collaborate with software and design partners, so we can ensure every aspect of the report is fully managed.

Whether you are starting from scratch or building on an existing VSME/sustainability report, we help you create a sustainability report that genuinely reflects your company’s values and sustainability efforts.

If you want to report beyond the VSME standard, we can also help you create a more comprehensive report, which takes additional inspiration from other frameworks such as GRI and CSRD/ESRS. A VSME report also leads to a higher score for EcoVadis.
